This is a multi-year work in progress and chronicles my quiet times, Bible studies, and sermon notes. As such, this will largely be a patchwork of my reflections on God's Word. When I use an external reference while writing I will state it in the text. I can not begin to thank the number of pastors, authors, and friends that have helped me grow in my knowledge of the Scriptures.
I believe that the entire Bible is applicable to modern life, and my hope is to help make the Bible clearer to those who want to understand it. I also want to encourage everyone to read their Bible every day.
I am not formally trained in theology, so the serious Bible student will want to compare these notes with established commentaries. However, I see the interpretation of Scripture as a very serious matter, and I write with the belief that I am accountable to God to present what I know as accurately as I can.
